Thinking About
Thinking About is a Swiss Pop-Rock band based in Geneva, formed in 2023 which consists of John Mc Ferfive and Mic Fuzzup.
John Mc Ferfive is a songwriter, composer, singer, and keyboardist.
Mic Fuzzup is a songwriter, composer, guitarist, and bassist.
Together, they compose all the tracks for Thinking About, with frequent collaborations, notably with Ellette, a Swiss songwriter and composer, who will also be the first guest artist on the « one song a month » project described on the related page.
As anonymous and discreet artists, driven by and carried away by music, and wishing to express themselves primarily through it, they will have the joy of regularly showcasing different singers throughout the months.
Thinking About is inspired by both the atmosphere created by British rock and contemporary pop, with added touches of the eighties. Some influences are noticeable and come from bands such as U2, Coldplay, Muse, or Genesis.
Musically, the compositions are ambitious and sweet, where multiple melodies succeed each other. The tracks, often driven by Mic Fuzzup’s raw and saturated guitars, also subtly blend John Mc Ferfive’s organic keyboards and the marvellous sounds of their respective instruments.
